Funded by member company contributions and proceeds from SCOAR’s fundraising activities, SCOAR’s Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students at all stages of their educational journey—from university programs to technical training and apprenticeships.

SCOAR’s Scholarship Program is established to support and encourage students pursuing careers in construction and related fields, including safety. Through financial assistance funded by contributions from SCOAR member companies, the program aims to strengthen the future workforce of the industrial construction industry.
The Scholarship Program is funded through voluntary contributions from SCOAR member companies and SCOAR fundraising activities. Annual funding levels and the number of scholarships awarded will be determined based on available funds.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant’s field of study and educational pathway:
Awarded to students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related fields.
Awarded to students pursuing degrees in safety-related disciplines, including occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or similar programs.
Awarded to students enrolled in community colleges, technical schools, or registered apprenticeship programs related to construction trades.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
All scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution or training program in which the recipient is enrolled. Funds may be applied toward tuition, fees, or other approved educational expenses in accordance with institutional policies.
