The Targeting Outstanding Project/Program Safety Awards (TOPS) Awards recognize exceptional projects and programs that demonstrate a strong commitment to construction safety. Winning a TOPS Award is both an honor and a mark of leadership in safeguarding people and worksites. By participating, member companies showcase proven best practices that raise the standard of safety across the entire industry. Award recipients are recognized at SCOAR’s Fall Meeting, and featured in The Voice Southeastern magazine, SCOAR’s annual publication.
SCOAR's Workforce Development Program of the Year award recognizes exemplary and innovative training, education, or other career development initiatives, that encourage individuals to pursue careers in the construction industry and/or elevate the construction skills of current craft professionals. Award recipients receive a training grant, are recognized at SCOAR’s Winter Meeting, and featured in The Voice Southeastern magazine, SCOAR’s annual publication.
SCOAR’s Craft Professional of the Year award recognizes a construction craft professional who excels in his or her field while demonstrating a commitment to safety, performance and productivity, leadership, and training/education. Award recipients receive a $1,000 cash award and DEWALT tool package valued at $500 and are recognized at SCOAR’s Spring Meeting, and featured in The Voice Southeastern magazine, SCOAR’s annual publication.
